ANNOUNCEMENTS     

 

WELCOME TO THE PULPIT, REV. YVONNE FLORENCE. Yvonne McLean Florence accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior on September 25, 1988 and was baptized. She was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in 2001 and ordained in 2003. She holds a Masters of Divinity from the Palmer Theological Seminary formerly Eastern Baptist Seminary and a Diploma in Biblical and Theological Studies from the Eastern School of Christian Ministry. Yvonne has been happily married to Calvin E. Florence for 21 years and they have 3 adult children (1 daughter/2 sons) and two granddaughters whom they adore. Yvonne loves God!  She serves Him, the people of God and the community with passion and compassion

 

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD. For the months of May and June we will be collecting hygiene items. These items will include toothbrushes, soap, wash cloths, small tissue pack, combs, brushes, hair clips, hair ties, hats, etc.   This will change again in July and August.  We will continue collecting various items until November. Please drop items in the box located in the Narthex.
