As we have followed along through the wilderness with the people of Israel from Mount Sinai to the Promised Land, we have seen something pretty amazing...Moses changing God's mind.  

After every rebellion, God is ready to destroy the people, to wipe them out and start again.  Although he does bring a judgement, he does not destroy the whole of the people because every time Moses and/or Aaron intercede for the people.

Wow!  What a power given to a man to intercede for others, to "change God's mind" through prayer!  A power that is also given to us...
