Not long after Israel has refused to enter the promised land, rejecting the God who has brought them to the Promised Land, scorning the pleading of Moses, the people once again rebel against Moses and against God.  The rebellion of Korah, Dathan and Abiram, is actually two rebellions in one.

Korah wants to be priest, he wants more than the role God has given him among his people.

Dathan and Abiram pass the blame for their wandering to Moses, calling for the people to once again return to Egypt.

Both rebellions point to our own rebellion against God, and the place we see ourselves in the people of God...
